...to brentwood academy, a los angeles, california co-ed boarding school. here, what you see isn't always what you get and sometimes we must face that the truth in cliché isn't always what it seems. opened in 1896, the once all boys prep school is known for preparing the world's privileged kids for great success after graduation and that still holds true to this day. when you tour the grounds, you will find that everything (despite the age of the school) is pristine and up to date with the latest in technology. the students all appear to be proper, intelligent, well behaved teenagers, but ask yourself, is this just smoke and mirrors? things have changed over the years and brentwood academy has long since opened it's doors to students on scholarships and financial aid. of course there are plenty of wealthy students here as well. so what sets it apart from other boarding schools? well, let's just say a little tight knit group of teenagers that are referred to as the elites. these students, while not all wealthy, have it over everyone else. they are confident, cocky and rightfully so. these students excel in everything they do, they are intelligent in both academics and 'the street'. they have connections outside of the school and seem to know how to make things happen and have no problem using leverage to get what they want. even the most 'popular' kids in the school want to be them or at the very least befriend them. they are the most sought after in the school, the most loved, feared, respected and hated.

so, think you've got what it takes to enter through the doors of brentwood academy or will you crack under the pressure? only time will tell and only a fair few will decide your fate, your social status amongst the other students. will you be an elite or an outcast or fall somewhere in between? are you brave enough to find out the truth in cliché?

current subplots!

of course within overall site plot there will always be sub plots going on. most plots typical teenage angst, but then there are always those plots that cause the site to blow up with gossip and drama (icc of course). here you will find those major sub plots so you know exactly what miss cliche is talking about.

the rivalry - teen rivalry is a normal thing, but there is something about this that sets these boys apart from the others competing. these nine boys are divided into two sides, yet whether they like to admit it or not, they all have big time similarities. they argue, they compete, sometimes they get physical. whether it's sports, a love interest or the fact that they are all very musically inclined, it's a constant barrage of tension and bickering. so, who are these boys?

and then we have

brentwood trends - let's face it, when one popular person does something, it quickly becomes a trend amongst the other students. there are times when no matter how dangerous or ridiculous it is, other students follow suit and whatever the trend in starts to spread like wildfire.
