She hadn’t anticipated that reaction. Katrina surveyed the rest of the family’s reaction, Ashlyn and Madeline in pure shock, his mother probably with more disapproval than anything else. Katrina didn’t expect Devin’s reaction at all and quite honestly, she was a little pleased to have won at least one family member over since everyone was against her very existence. She offered him a smile, still not fully convinced Devin was being nice. It was hard to say what was on everyone’s mind right about now, but typical Katrina was ready to just flip everyone off, hop out of the car, and find her own way back to Paris.
