Anya can put on this tough front around her students. Alot of students say she is tough or unfair but she knew life is unfair. Once she is comfy with her students, she will have fun in her classroom, play games and allow eating. She is really just looking for someone to break her built wall. She is really caring but kind of standoffish to new people. People have to also be slow with movements around her like don't go in for a hug when you first meet her.
Anya can be nice and sweet after the wall is gone but tough when it's not. She likes to tease men especially players. She loves European History so she will definitely talk about that. Daniel and Nicole met through mutual friends. They actually hated each other; they were polar opposite. They started dating after a drunken or not so drunken kiss. They realized they loved each other and soon were engaged. That was over a two year period.
When they had Anya, they decided no more kids so Anya grew up as a only child. Playing quietly upstairs knowing if she made one wrong move, she would get slapped by her father and her mother would do nothing. When she scurried back to her room, her mother would come up and place Anya in her lap and rock her. At age of 11, Nicole Fitzgerald was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. After medical bills on medical bills, Nicole passed after 6 months. Daniel turned to alcohol for his problems, forgetting about Anya.
Anya learned to do stuff at the age of 13 that adults should do. Daniel would stay at work late sometimes and those were the lucky days for Anya. When he was home by the time, she got back from school he would be drunk off his face and hit Anya over and over till she moved out at the age of 18. She applied for college and was accepted. She finally got her degree and started teaching at Brentwood.
