personality
"Stay clear of Candice Jade Fabray."
Anyone who isn't apart of her "clique", typically choose to stay away from Candice. Why? Because she is just downright evil for no reason whatsoever. Almost as if it gives her pleasure to see others crumble before her, she is devious and manipulative to levels unseen by the majority of the world. She laughs at the pain of others, and doesn't try to hide it from anyone. Typically, people are either: scared of her because she can do just about anything, or envy her because she's someone that girls wish they were and guys want to have.
But this isn't the full side of Candice, believe it or not. To say the least, Candy gained her nickname for a reason. Unbeknownst to the majority of people in the world, she can be sweet, caring, and completely down to Earth. But who has ever seen this side of her? People who managed to get really close to her, and only them, which is a real hard feat to do. Even her parents feel the wrath of her spoiled brat-like demeanor. If you're in the small circle of close friends that she has, you usually see a light version to her typical self, though she rarely ever reveals affection for even close friends.
"Hi Candy! You look nice as always!"
Candice is a great source of fashion throughout the entire school campus. She has helped people from all different levels of popularity through her two years of attending the school, and takes pride when someone asks for fashion advice. Though, of course, being the person that she is, her advice is usually hardcore, blunt, and hurtfully honest. She doesn't take into consideration how her words may hurt the feelings of others, and she never thinks twice about what she says. But her fashion isn't the only thing that people admire. Basically, because she acts how she wants, and isn't afraid to show her true colors, people have some respect for her - actually, a lot of respect. That's one of the factors that puts her on the top of the social ladder, along with being gorgeous and junior varsity cheerleadering captain.
"That b**ch!"
The last two sections probably gave a pretty clear insight on why people would say this about Candice. She knows people call her this, and instead of denying them, she tends to correct them instead. If you're gonna do it, gotta do it right, after all. Right? It's not "that b*tch", it's "the b*tch". She takes full responsibility for her name, and because of that, she wants exclusive rights to it. She talks about people a lot, whether it be gossip or not. She's not afraid of saying what she wants to whoever she wants. She doesn't hold back, and if you don't like that, it would be best to just avoid her at all times. She is cunning and conniving, and while most people know this, some still look up to her. She's absolutely crazy, but despite this, unless you put your hands on her first, she handles most situations calmly.

history
It wouldn't be so hard to believe or guess that Candice didn't originate from a low or middle class family. Born in the depths of Manhattan, her family, both her mom and dad separately, owned large estates and large corporations, that easily brought wealth to the family's finance. Since day one of her life, Candice has been spoiled to unimaginable limits. For one, she traveled across the entirety of the United States by the age of five; one trip for each month every year, excluding January and December. She's been privileged in both physical and mental means, as she was born with an intellect that accommodates her beauty. Since her entry into the first grade, she been held at the top of her class. Either always in first, second or third place, in terms of the highest grades.
In the third grade, Candice started gymnastics with one of her few friends from school. The "sport" came naturally for her, as her flexibility was greater than the average person. In sixth grade, when her beauty began to develop more, and she began to gain what one would call an immature body-shape, she auditioned to become a cheerleader for her middle school. Lucky enough, she was placed at the top of the pyramid for their first performance, and impressed the coach with the cheer she created. That was all she needed to do for her to become the head cheerleader the week later. But along with this, her book studies began to get a little more serious and harder compared to elementary school.
As she got more interested in her books, people started to pay more attention to her. She was then called a nerd by a good amount of people because she always aced her test and passed her classes with straight A's. This was seen as a bad thing, coming from someone who was supposed to be a popular girl. She was picked on, and eventually, the girls in the cheerleading squad decided that it would be best if they demoted her to the bottom of the pyramid. After all, school was a social ladder, and those who didn't fit in with others, had to move. They couldn't deny that she was a good cheerleader, so they kept her on the squad, but she wasn't deemed head quality.
At the end of her senior year in middle school, her parents moved in order to further increase their business. But two months before this, she came up with a strategy on how she would get her reputation back at school. She was aware that she was moving soon, so she knew she had to act quickly. She also decided that she would take a different route for high school, as she couldn't dream of going through four years of humiliation and torture. She grew cold, and expressed this side of her with her classmates. Soon, people started to fear her because of her attitude. But she can admit that being mean got you where you wanted. By the end of the school year, the squad was once again hers.
When she moved to California, she was entered into Brentwood, a school that both her parents suggested for her. Her first year, she signed up to become a cheerleader in junior varsity. Of course, she was accepted with ease, but unlike her first middle school years, she couldn't get the position of captain during her first year. There were a lot of other girls who shared equal talents to her, but they were mostly older and were moving up next year to Varsity. There was only one other freshman who shared her level of talent. This changed, however, at the beginning of her second year, when she was immediately placed as captain, due to the former captain's placement in Varsity and the strange removal of her only competition - whatever happened is unaware to everyone but school officials.
Since her first year, being a cheerleader, and being rich and good looking, she'd been known as a popular kid, but one couldn't begin to explain how that popularity increased dramatically with her promotion. She became the go-to girl for most people, and for some, due to the mean cold attitude she presented to the other students, she became enemy number one, or "Miss Avoidable" due to the fact that a lot of the school decided to avoid her at all costs to risk any type of embarrassment or humiliation. She wasn't only a popular kid by her sophomore year, she was an Elite.

The school year had just started and Candice could already tell that things were going to be a lot smoother than last year. What was there to look forward to? Well, the most obvious thing was her new position among the cheerleading squad. Head cheerleader! Why wouldn't that be something to celebrate? She had wanted the position last year, but she didn't turn out so lucky like before, but it didn't matter.
She had it now, and it was time to celebrate. How else would a girl like her celebrate such an accomplishment? Shopping!
She had called her best friend along to help her shop, and if she seen something that she wanted, Candice definitely wouldn't mind spending a little extra to get it for her. After all, Faith was one of the only girls that Candy called a friend and actually cared about. She didn't know how to describe it, but she was more than just a friend (or best friend for that matter). The way they were capable to bonding the year before, despite Candice's cold hearted ways, made them closer than she imagined.
The two of them were going through racks of clothes in Forever 21 after searching through nearly the entire mall. Candice had brought a few items and was carrying the two bags in her left arm, while she used the right arm to move the clothes on the rack to the side. She didn't know exactly what she was looking for, but she was looking for something! It had to look nice and suiting for her, that was the only prerequisites.
She pulled out a white halter top from the rack and her the hanger up high enough where Faith could see it clearly from where she was standing. She didn't know why the store was lacking it's usual clothing that made her want to buy everything. She picked a bad day to go shopping.
“Ugh! If this is the best that this store has to offer, I would be better off shopping in the dumpster for better quality clothes.”
She spat the words out like rapid fire. She threw the shirt on top of the rack and walked over to another rack. Anyone could tell she was upset.
“I should just stop shopping now.”
