seventeen, eccentric, addict, high anxiety, bizarre as fuck, elite, bossy, director, gay, single. So Maks is basically your run of the mill crazy with a major charismatic attitude on his side. Brilliant… but crazy. Crazy but brilliant. It fits him well, and he has a tendency of flying by the seat of his pants. He likes to give orders, give direction, and be in control. Friends would be good. He’s that asshole that has plenty of friends despite his attitude—being an elite won’t hurt that at all. Makism feels that he’s still pretty well accepted into the artist’s crowd, seeing as he’s so involved with the drama club and everything on the directing side. He’s brilliant and sorta magnetic in his personality. Enemies I mean, he’s a massive weirdo. Sometimes I wonder how I get by liking him. Drama please. Lovers could be numerous. He likes to take pretty things and mess with them for bits of time…a bit of a serial dater, if you’d ask me. Hell, he hardly even dates before he gets people in bed. Once or twice is probably the most you’ll see Maks naked unless you’re something special. Flings and casual sex are all well and good, but he’s registering as ‘emotionally unavailable’ in my mind. For him to be in a real relationship… it would be nice, but it would take time. Lots of time. Also, boys only please.

Welcome!! ♥ So these are my Brentwood babies. I find it a bit easier to show you who they are, give you a little bio about them and where they are currently. No one knows your character like you, so you tell me what/if you see anything with any of them. Don't be afraid to suggest things because I do love drama! If you're interested in knowing more about any of them here is the plotter for my high school students and though I haven't included any of them here, these are my locals, two of which just graduated from Brentwood.

Born in Hawaii, the water is her first true love, so she spends most of her time at the beach, though when she's not she's either hanging out with friends or at some sort of sports practice. Ara is down to earth, grounded and is nothing like the other Brentwood snobby bitches, she actually can't stand that sort of thing. She can be sweet, she's sassy and cross her you'll find out she's a total spitfire. Ara is independent and doesn't go for the whole girly, Damsel in distress routine. Basically she's just a typical teenager, doing her thing, trying not to think about the unfortunate things that she went through with her brother Kai and their mother's death. Courtney can come across as very cold, pretentious and self-righteous and on some level she truly is, it was the way she was raised. She is extremely intelligent and doesn't try to hide it, instead uses it to her advantage. As a junior, she was president of the national honor society, student council and business club. Her career has always been her main focus and Courtney even got an early acceptance to the Fashion Institute so she could complete her senior year at Brentwood while beginning her first year in design school. But, all of that changed or at least on some level. Courtney fell in love with (basic) Tyler Hemsworth and after a very dramatic love triangle, the two of them are together and have just had a daughter, Isabelle Catherine. A dancer, Eliza was invited to audition for the California Ballet Company, so she took this opportunity to convince her father that this was going to be a good experience, but that was only partial truth. Eliza comes from a very traditional family where the girls are all prepared for a life set out for them, including their future husband, but she wants no part of that in the least. a hopeless romantic, eliza wants to find love and that forever fairytale happiness, so her intention is to hopefully make it into the ballet so she never has to go home again. She is sweet, soft-spoken (but not timid or naive) and once you get to know her she can be quite silly. Most of her life was devoted to dancing, though she's looking to change that up a little and finally allow herself to be a normal teenager and actually partake in social activity since she missed out on so much of that because of her focus in regards to dance. Her love of music was one of those, so Gia put that aside, at least on the outside so she didn't have to constantly hear about how pathetic she was. Girl gamer is one way to describe Gia. She finds something comforting in the ability to retreat and just play video games. Up until she found out she was pregnant, Gia was also a social butterfly and a party girl. She is still quite social, but the partying came to an abrupt halt. Gia has traded all of that in for her favorite role, mom. She and her boyfriend Tommy are new parents to twins, Benjamin and Darcy and even if it's not the perfect timing, Gia couldn't be happier. [/style][/style][/style] [/style]

Jae is humble, she's sweet and while she is well aware of her strengths and where she comes from, she does not draw light to it. She's an advocate and stands up for what she believes in. If you can get past the exterior shyness, you'll realize that she's your typical teenager who loves to do cliche girly things. Because of her shyness she does come across as very 'basic' but she's not, not in the least. There's a sassy side to her, silly and the girl who just wants to have fun. He's social, loves to party and is really just your typical guy. Kingston loves sports, playing them, watching, talking about them. Naturally he loves to flirt and is pretty much a play boy with no intention of settling down any time soon. Niya is social, she loves hanging out with her friends, partying (not drinking, just having fun), shopping, going out to the movies, that sort of thing. Music is her dream and one day she wants to be a professional singer. but, with that comes the chance that it won't happen and she knows that. Niya is extremely intelligent though she doesn't try to hide it, she doesn't act like a know it all either. She has a fiery side to her and if she thinks someone is being hurt or bullied, Niya is the first person to defend them. She can be quite innocent in certain ways, but that's her own personal choice. Don't confuse that with her being naive, because she's not in any way. Her family means everything to her, especially Alec and Lucas. they have always been her two biggest supporters and the people she leans on. [/style][/style][/style] [/style]

Olivia is following in her mothers footsteps and is an actress. She's had a few small, reoccurring roles on tv shows and has been in a couple commercials. Olivia is a silly-heart, loves to joke around and maybe play a few pranks here and there. She can be situationally dramatic (in a fun way). Olivia loves to be social, hang out with her friends and just have fun being a teenager. Basically, she's come all the way across the world with hopes that she will develop a relationship with her half-brother, but she's hopeful and is looking forward to everything that goes along with it. Some might view it as immaturity but it's far from that. Romeo knows how to and does enjoy life. He's determined and his future is his main focus. Romeo can see the world for the beauty that most don't and he has a way of capturing it in a picture in ways most people couldn't dream. What he does then is manipulates it into something beyond imaginable, beautify in a rare form and something so breathtaking that he's been selling his artwork since the age of eight. Romeo is a bit of a flirt, but a romantic at heart. He loves to just be around people and in a sense live a normal life for the son of a multimillionaire. Really, he's just doing his own thing. What you see isn't always what you get, but you won't even understand that part unless you've crossed her. Sofia comes across as very sweet, outgoing, fun, bubbly, social butterfly and basically just an all around great friend to have. She's a cheerleader, she writes for the school newspaper, dabbles in blogging, national honor society, student council and so on. What you don't see is the devious side of her and that is putting it mildly. While what you see isn't a lie, it's a hazy smoke that covers the rest of her. Sofia and Ellie are a force you don't really want to reckon with because they are sneaky and under the radar. No one would ever believe that those 'sweet twins' are capable of doing things like setting someone and getting them expelled. They are vindictive, perceptive, intelligent and one step ahead of everyone else. Both twins are fueled by different things, for Sofia it's a fear of rejection, so she makes sure that she never is. Unless you cross her you'll never see that side to her, so don't fret. When it comes to matters of the heart she tends to only date casually and steps away before it can get serious or she can be let down. In terms of friendships, while it may seem like she has close friends it's all at a distance for her. The only person she can trust wholeheartedly is her twin Ellie. He's become something of a loose cannon when it comes to his decision making skills, or apparent lack thereof, and while he does have his good days, they are equally countered by his bad ones. He has a sweet side reserved for those who get closest to him, though that's generally restricted to Olivia and Brady. He's the guy that won't give a shit if he hurts your feelings, and there's only a select few occasions where he would ever have any sort of drive to apologize, and even then, the apology is usually coerced out of him. He's dealing with (or not dealing with, rather) some pretty heavy stuff, having just recently learned that his parents had died, and he's definitely the type that isn't particularly fond of getting or asking for help. Most of the things he says you probably shouldn't take to heart, because he has a bad habit of speaking before he thinks things through, and he's been known to lash out when he feels like he's being cornered. He acts before thinking too, but that's an entirely different story. He's definitely the drama baby; he admitted to his best friend that he loved him near the end of his junior year, and when he learned that his parents were dead, he also found out he has a half sister. He does enjoy himself a party, and music is his scene, so he's fairly 'social', but befriending him stands a 50/50 chance, but since starting a relationship with Brady, he's definitely mellowed out a bit. He puts his friends so far before himself, it's unreal, and he's all about making sure they're all safe and happy. He's got his fair share of issues to work through, though. When he was fifteen, a fight with his older brother that he caused, lead to his parents being called home early, and that ultimately lead to his parents' accident when they're car was hit by a drunk driver. He has yet to let go of the guilt and still blames himself for them dying, and he still has yet to let anyone in on what he's going through. About half way through his junior year, his younger sister ran away, and he hasn't let go of the guilt over being unable to help her. To add onto that, he and his girlfriend found out they were expecting twins. He's definitely had his fair share of drama and obstacles, but he's been trying not to let any of it bring him down, but it's only a matter of time before it does. He loves music, and even though it's taken a backseat to everything else right now, he refuses to abandon it. [/style]

He's a bit of a busy body, as he's constantly on the move and looking for something for him to do, or something to entertain himself. He's fairly laid back when it comes to most things, and the only thing he tends to get really defensive about it when people start asking questions and prying into his history, as while he hasn't had a traumatic childhood by any means, it definitely isn't one he's fond of. He as in and out of foster homes from the age of five to the age of eight, when he was finally adopted into a well off family. He's been dealing with his older brother being in and out of trouble, and that's definitely something that weighs heavily on him since the two are fairly close. Griffin is often found in the company of his best friend, and she's definitely become one of the most important people in his life. He's easy to befriend though, as he absolutely loves people. He's fairly family oriented, and his older brother is, by far, who he considered to be his idol. He's been known to make snap decisions based on very little, and he definitely speaks and acts before thinking whenever he gets anxious or otherwise stressed out. Music is his heart and soul, and it's definitely one of the few things he takes seriously. He's confident, but he isn't overly or excessively arrogant, and while he'll say he's good with a smile, he isn't big on flaunting it. He's easy to get along with though, assuming you have the proper mindset, and a whole boat load of patience. [/style]

Music is definitely a very large part of her life, and she's become very focused on it. Her best friends are her entire world, and she would go to the end of the earth and back again, and do anything in her power to help them and keep them happy. She's been known to drag people on some really insane adventures, ranging from painting statues all the way to hand fishing (or attempting to do so) at the beach, and she's constantly looking for new sources of entertainment. She's really easy to get along with, and she's terribly social, almost to the point that she actively seeks out people. [/style]

He was diagnosed to have bipolar disorder when he was fifteen, and he's been struggling with staying on medication. He doesn't have an issue with a poor self esteem, but he is conscious that he isn't anything like the other people found in Los Angeles. He and his brother and best friend moved to Los Angeles from Huntington Beach at the start of summer break, so he's still fairly new to the area, so his list of friends aren't all that substantial. He's fairly sensible, despite all of his issues, and while he has been struggling with his disorder and his temper, he's managed to stay on top of things regardless. Music is by far his entire world and he's easy to get along with. He's a perpetual big kid at heart and he loves to have fun. [/style]

He is definitely one of those cliche people who's best friend is an animal, even though he is so terribly beyond social it could even be considered hilarious. Growing up is the absolute last thing on his proverbial list of things to do, and he has no intention of garnering responsibilities any time soon. He was diagnosed with ADHD a while back, and he's been involved in small time drugs (certainly nothing serious or heavy) for a short time while he was seventeen. In the long run, he's easy to get along with, if you don't mind his quirky and chatty attitude. He's a super sweetheart, and with almost everything he does, it comes from his heart and a very good place. Most times, at least. [/style]

She's just recently moved to Los Angeles from Myrtle Beach, so the change in scenery has definitely taken it's toll on her, and her list of friends isn't at all substantial. She's a free spirit, she doesn't see the need in letting things make her upset or bring her down, and for the most part, a lot of upsetting things get rolled right off her back. She has her own issues, but they certainly seem to pale in comparison to the others, so for the most part, she is pretty average. She doesn't like to draw attention to herself, and she lives a pretty down to earth and ordinary lifestyle. She's got the necessary funds to go all out on what she wants, but she chooses not to, so she's become fairly humble despite where she lives. She's easy to get along with, assuming she isn't encountering a total headcase. [/style]

He's become known more for his talent behind the lens of a camera over anything else, and while he really is a sweetheart, he has his own edge. The previous year he was fairly shy, but his junior year has brought around an entirely new side to him. He's terribly family oriented though, and his older brother (Alec) is definitely the person he considers to be his idol, and he goes to him with almost every problem or issue he has. His cousin (Niya) could easily be considered his best friend, and he often relies on her to feel comfortable in any conversation or situation. He's terribly shy, and he would more often than not be found on the sidelines of a crowd, and on the off chance that he ever is the center of attention, you could bet your bottom dollar that he's looking for a way out of it. When he was fifteen, he was in a car accident with his older brother and amongst the other injuries he sustained during the crash was the loss of his eyesight. He was headstrong before the accident and it's definitely increased ever since, and the only person he really ever leans on for help and support is his twin brother Gavin. He walks around with a chip on his shoulder that's probably three sizes too large for his own good. He has every potential to be a romantic, or a sweetheart, even, if only he would open up and let people in, maybe admit that he can't do everything on his own like he once was able to. His twin brother is definitely, by far, his best friend, and while he certainly can't do much, he would do absolutely anything in his power for him. [/style]

So, I um, I tossed Maks into Griffin’s dorm room. Yay roomies? Maks is going to need a sorta equalizer when he forgets (or refuses) to take his meds and things go wrong. He tries to hide the fact that he’s on the meds in the first place, but because they live together… well, it’ll get hard to hide. The anxiety attacks will be even harder to hide, because they usually involve quite the outburst on Makism’s end. To have a sort of confidence in Griffin might be nice?

Makism&Ashton

They’re both dog people… and Ashton is just adorable. Like. Totally adorable. I can’t guarantee Maks won’t try to put his hands on Ashton at some point if they do become friends, but we can um, burn that bridge when we get there? Or we can burn that bridge beforehand? I have no f’ing idea.

BRADY & MAKSIM - brady is an artist at heart, he's actually part of the drama club. music is his passion, but he loves acting as well so these two will have a few things together. he's an elite, but social status isn't anything he really cares about. he fell into that elite spot based on popularity and the fact that he knows how to get things done (he's the guy who just talks to people, is extremely charming and that's how he makes connections). basically brady just wants to have fun and not take life too seriously, so if mak can handle that, they could probably be fairly cool.

ELIZA & MAKISM - yes, artist russians ftw! eliza transferred to brentwood over the summer so she's still fairly new. she doesn't know a whole lot of people so it will be a breathe of fresh air to meet another russian on campus. i think these two should be amazing friends and just sort of maybe share dreams and secrets and just have fun together. she could sort of be the grace to his will?!

JAE & MAKISM - well jae is definitely a cute thing. she needs friends and honestly she would probably adore him. i don't have a whole lot to say except that. i think they should be great friends.

ROMEO & MAKISM - i can see a former fling. the two of them have some similarities that would lead them to a night of partying, some drugs and probably waking up next to each other. they could definitely work at being friends!

NOAH and MAKISM
befriending Noah is both simple and complex, if that makes any sense at all. obviously, he's more than capable of forming his own opinion about someone, but the way he treats others is pretty dependent on how Brady sees them, and that can impact and shift how Noah sees others. And with Noah starting his senior year off reclaiming the edge he lost over the summer, this could go either way. in a nutshell, Noah's probably one of the guys you'd want on your side; I'm down to see how they interact!


GRIFFIN and MAKISM
Griffin is all for that! He hasn't shared space with anyone since he started at brentwood so I think it'll be fun to see how he finally acts with a roommate! he can definitely be an equilizer of sorts, though I wouldn't depend too greatly on him for stability, as he does have his own issues he's dealing with. he could definitely serve as someone for Maks to talk to, if he needed to!


ASHTON and MAKISM
awww yes. I so need more plots with this boy because I quite literally have like. next to none. Ashton's a big damn kid at heart and he takes nothing but music seriously so any physical relationships would probably happen and get written off as a common occurrence. I'm down to see where this goes!
