ANNETTE MASON

annette here is like a sun. she's cheerleading captain, part of the prom committee, does sports, music, writes blogs about fashion, she's an elite and she's everywhere. annette is a friendly person who won't act up until you give her a reason to, but she does have a feisty side and doesn't let anybody waltz over her. people call her 'the all-knowing', because it's true really, for some weird reason annette knows everything or her intuition is somehow always right, but she is always right. her baby just got born so she's taking it easy, but she'll go back to her partying ways like before at some point, but it will be less because of her daughter ofcourse. and don't get me wrong but as sweet as nettie is, do not get her pissed off. pissed off nettie is a like a hurricane, she destroys all, and even if she's only 5'1, she's a martial artist and can kick your ass.

MAEVE ST.CLOUD

maeve is the acting teacher and she's graduated from juilliard as master of musical and fine arts, so she's really kick ass in what she does, which is basically all sorts of art, painting, drawing, singing, making music, acting, dancing, all of it. she's a real rebel rock chick on the loose, and basically about as intriguing and fascinating as women can get. she often plays games with the guys she's interested in, but bolts when things get serious. she's a whore and a proud one too, and catching her will not be easy, and keeping her is even harder. she's brutally honest and has a feisty side, being a martial artist too.

TYLER HEMSWORTH

idk if there'll be a lot here, because tyler is basically rather silent until you drag him into a conversation and get him to open up and then he's loads of fun, but he doesn't really like to be around people who get regularly drunk because they remind him too much of his alcoholic father. once you get to know him though, tyler is a very loyal friend, a shoulder to cry on and he can have fun and be goofy too. he's a pacifist and just doesn't like to fight and therefore tends to stay out of that shit because he really doesn't think it's important. he's dropdead protective over his sister and his best friends' sisters because they feel like his sisters too.

SEAN MCFERNON

so this here is sean. he is a single dad to a two year old girl, called evangeline and his girlfriend/mother of angie lost her mind after giving birth, and was later diagnosed with post-traumatic schizophrenia and a postnatal depression, she's been taken into the mental hospital and if she'll even recover (which is doubted), she'll never be the same again. . so basically, sean has been through quite some serious shit, but he isn't really open and all about it, so only his closest friends will really know all the details about that period in his life. yet he's a crazy and insane, a real goofball who has a daredevilish and adventurous soul and is always in for parties or charming ladies with his irish accent. though he's recently been falling for a particular girl. he loves to party.

CALLIOPE MCLEAN

there'll be nothing here, since callie doesn't give high school students a second glance, and she's nothing but status and honestly doesn't think high school students are worth anything. just don't get in her because she'll bring you down and tear you to shreds. she also used to be an elite hen she was still in brentwood.

GALE STARK

gale here is the son of the duke and duchess of cornwall, and all he wants is his freedom. all his life he has been forced to fit in and do what his parents wanted him to do, get him ready for his place in the world as new duke of cornwall, but it's not what gale wants. gale wants to act, sing, make music and enjoy life because he is still so young. so in order to fulfill that dream, he ran away from home and no one knows where he is. he's technically engaged, but no one knows that here too, so he's exploiting his freedom. idk how they'd meet, honestly.

FINLEY DAVIS

then we have mr. davis, finley to be exact. he's 18 years old and he is the son of the prime minister of the uk, who got sent here after a scandalous affair with one of the mp's from his father's work, a young one but nevertheless, a scandal that was, so now he's been here since this year started. fin to friends, sometimes called grump because he can have that brooding expression on his face, but really, he's not grumpy at all. finley can look a bit intimidating on the outside, but really, if you get to know him he's not scary at all! he is all fuzzy on the inside. he loves to party and do crazy stuff with his friends and he really never backs down out of a dare. one advice though, fin isn't called the bearman for nothing, he's as giant as a house and broad and strong and a boxer so do not piss him off. it's hard to do so, but if you do, just run. insulting his girlfriend or harming her or his best friends (noah, brady and jesse) in any way and you'll hit the jackpot.

ADELINE YOUNG

adeline is an eighteen year old, who is a rockstar on the rise of fame with her girlpower band souls alive. she's got adhd and is an energizer bunny on speed, always doing daredevil stuff and parties and everything. nothing is too crazy for her, but it is mainly to hide the fact that her insides are falling apart, and nobody notices. they really don't. she just acts like she used to do before noah evans broke her heart, and now she has the feeling that she'll always be the second or third choice, the rebound, but never the girl a guy really wants to have (she's been through some shit with love earlier in her life and her dad abandoned her when she was very young), so she's back to her whoring ways and not giving a shit. she recently graduated brentwood and is not going to college because she doesn't have to and her band is successful enough.

FERRIS BLACKWOOD

same for sadye, she's teaching at UCLA and she is really distant thanks to what has happened to her in the past. the only person that matter to her are her little daughter joanne and secretly one of her students she is falling for and besides she's a professor so idk how they'd meet.

javier suarez, the sexy cuban mancandy. javier pretty much has the cuban lifestyle of postponing everything that has to be done and only trying to have fun whenever, wherever. you see, javier is hiv-positive, because it was transmitted to him by his mom, as she used to be an heroin-addict. so javier really has the 'try before you die'-attitude and do stupid things now, because he knows that most likely his life won't last as long as that of normal people do and he just hated living his life according to a strict schedule because of his medication and disease. dancing is his life, especially hip hop but also latin, because he is cuban ofcourse, and it's in his roots, it's what he has been raised with.

LEONA RAELI

leona here is an interesting story. her real home is in an indian reservation in riverside county, together with her grandmother. she used to be bullied when she was younger for practicing the traditions of shamanism and wanting to become a shaman, so she has drawn up a cold fence of sass and cold attitude to push people away from her and keep them out, so no one will find out about her secret and no one can hurt her anymore. she loves to make music and sing, especially blues, jazz and soul that kind of stuff. outcast by choice (rejecting to join the popular circle, omfg), leona is a feisty little dwarf who lives in a tipi on the campus grounds because she refuses to sleep in her dorm, and just doesn't give a crap about what anyone thinks.

WESLEY MORIARTY

this is wesley! he's your typical buckets of sunshine kind of guy who is out to have some fun with his little brother keaton and his best friend drew, with whom he forms a band. pranking and music are at the top of his favorites list, along with surprisingly enough, science. wesley is real science geek and not even ashamed of it. he lives to have fun and doesn't really care about what other people think about that. wesley is geniunely a nice guy, despite the bad ass skater/surf boy demeanour he has going on. wesley accepts everybody as they are, he generally likes people and is chill to be around with. he also takes life as it goes and accepts things the way they are. he doesn't see why people have to make drama about everything and just goes with the flow and sees how things end. he is up for some serious pranking though so you have to be able to deal with that. wesley is bisexual but he doesn't know what it is, he is fine with it and has accepted that it is the way it is, but he just.. he doesn't know he still doesn't feel comfortable about the world knowing and he's just still pretty confused about everything.

IZA THOMASSON

iza here is a french girl from paris who travelled here to make it as a musician and together with her band kinetic zebra stripes she hard on her way to becoming the next best thing since beer and sex. the brunette herself though is a hands full. bad ass to the core and certainly one of the most ironic, sarcastic and cynical persons around, iza's words can hit home bases really hard, but if you can appreciate her type of humor, you're gonna be stoked. she's your typical rockerchick but then with a mysterious edge, which makes her a rather fascinating and intriguing person to chase after, and she'll admit, she loves to make you crawl. authority and status means absolutely nothing to her, since she's seen it all, been there done that, and she thinks spoiled high school kiddos are a waste of her precious time.

ELEYNA LOCKWOOD

alright, so this is ellie, part of the lockwood twins with sofia! they are not the types to be messed with and they are kind of a two-package deal. ellie seems to be that girl who every guy wants to have but can never get. she's alive and friendly, a little eccentric but crazy and above all she tends to be a little sassy, but that's only something that attracts most people to her. eleyna is driven by a different fear than sofia is, with ellie it is mainly her attachment issues which have gotten her into quite some boy trouble and just got her very confused. she's a tease at heart rather than let guys get close to her or even like make out with her, and though people will think they are her friends, they never really are, because ellie's only true friend is sofia. eleyna is the actress of the two twins and she is insanely talented with both music (singing, piano and guitar) and acting, is part of the cheerleading squad, show choir, the drama club, ellie is literally everywhere. she's ambitious and talented and therefore has been rising pretty much in her career. if you get on "the list" however, you will see the menacing, 'evil' side of ellie that'll completely turn you down and can get people expelled, if you pushed her far enough. and nobody ever suspects them cause they are 'those nice, funny lockwood twins' who would never do that. a dangerous game you play if you play with them.

IAN CARRAWAY

ian here is a photographer/musician from dublin who goes to college because his dad forces him to. ian has been through quite a lot in his life so far, so he's both social and a bit guarded, mainly because he has seen a lot and doesn't see the bother of being around drama anymore. he used to be a spoiled rich boy who lived like a dandy in london, until he lost his girlfriend after a long aggravating fight to her drug addiction, which changed his personality and matured him. ian doesn't like to associate with drug users and addicts since it just reminds him too much of the past. he is a perfectionist but only to himself and not to others, he is a daredevil and loves to party and socialize. secretly ian is a big softie and a rock to those who need him, but he needs to trust you first, he's secretly quite a sweetheart, despite his charming and confident attitude. he is that guy who is aggravatingly good and talented in anything he tries, but he's humble about it and because of his perfectionism he always strives to do things better. to conclude, ian is just a guy with a lot of layers which goes unnoticed to a lot of people.

LANA VESCOVI

alright next up is miss lana, who isn't actually called lana. you see, her real name is leana alfonsone and she's a famous italian movie actress and musician, who also has a label called lithium that sells shoes, clothes and perfumes, and has played in a musical. but after a scandal in her rebelling phase, leana had two choices, either way go to rehab and destroy her career or go undercover. and that's how she became lana vescovi. lana here is your typical buckets full of sunshine. she is theater in every single way and a social butterfly who likes to talk to everybody and is friendly no matter what. she has that glimmering personality that draws people towards her, but she's a bit too goofy and poor(though leana is loaded, lana isn't) to be a popular and she doesn't care. she is obviously a jill of all trades, but her biggest talent is acting and singing, and her acting she uses in her advantage to keep up her cover more perfectly. she has that mysterious thing because she is good with words and always gets conversations to be not about her or her past. sure she'll tell you the trivial basic stuff and sometimes say something, but not about her past or anything and she doesn't like to get people truly close to her (like close friend/best friend material) because of her big secret. however she's carefree and lackadaisical and knows how to have fun, so there's no problem in that.

April: They're both juniors, and Dakota's pretty good at making friends. If he's seen the excitable side of her personality, he would definitely gravitate toward that. They would make pretty great friends, since they're both extremely loyal. But they're different enough to make it interesting.

Adeline: They would totally get along, especially if Dakota is friends with Adriana, who is also in that band. Whoring ways hmm...? It'd depend how Dakota saw her. If they hit it off as friends he might start to see her like a sister and never think of her that way. If not... there could be something there. ;D

Leona: Bullied? I'm on it. She seems fantastically interesting. Lives in a tee pee? Is this make shift house open for public viewing? Because he might just wander into it one day and invade her privacy. If he knew she was being bullied, he'd make every attempt to reach out to her/ defend her.

WELL HI. I'm horribly delayed with this whole plotting and introduction business, so my apologies! I'm AC and I am the resident crazy, don't let what other people say make you think otherwise. But I swear, I'm a good crazy, or at least I try my best to be. Welcome to TIC, anyways! I'm just gonna copy everyone else and post miniature bios of my characters, but if you want, you can so see my highschoolers in full here and my UCLA students/locals here.


NOAH BLAKE EVANS
(17. senior. (artist -->) elite. musician/guitar/vocals. troubled. aloof. breaking. complicated.)

He's made quite a name for himself at Brentwood, and it's usually not in the best of light. He's the guy that's been thrown for about a hundred loops and he keeps getting back up a little worse for wear than he had each time prior. He's an asshole, don't let what other people say fool you. He's the big bad wolf, of sorts, especially when it comes to love and relationships because he has (had, rather) a nasty habit of loving and leaving. He's the textbook example of the kid who wants everything he can't have, and if there's anything he hates more than being told no, he has yet to figure out what that thing is. He loves to party, though, so if your go-to scene is alcohol and loud music, then he's definitely the guy to go to. In the long haul, befriending him takes skill because he bases his opinion on others solely on how his best friends think about them. Call him a dog on a leash (or off the leash, depending on who you ask and how you look at it), if you must.


THOMAS GARRETT SULLIVAN

He's a genuine sweetheart who definitely cares more for the people around him than he does himself. But even he has his flaws, despite his best efforts to keep everything hidden away, and sooner or later, this poor boy is bound to crack. When he was fifteen, he lost both of his parents to a car accident and he was forced to relocate from England to Los Angeles at the start of his sophomore year. And if that didn't seem like enough trouble for the baby faced sweetheart, half way through his junior year, his younger sister transferred out and has since been completely out of touch, and for the proverbial cherry on top, he and his girlfriend found out they were pregnant. With twins. Now a happy (and anxious) father of two, he's put his love for music in the backseat in favor of caring for his girlfriend and their children. Befriending him is easy, and manage to get close to him and you'll find yourself with a friend for life; in a sense, he doesn't know how to let go.


MASON ALEXANDER CHEVALIER

For him, nothing was enough and nothing came quick enough for him. Many would venture to say that his devotion to his family was his one and only redeeming quality, but he knew better. Music is his heart and soul and in a very strong sense, it is the only thing he really takes seriously. He isn't afraid to get in trouble, and he isn't afraid to get down and dirty to ensure that he gets what he wants. He's the guy that took "you can't live with him, can't live without him" to an entirely next level meaning, and while he certainly isn't the poster child for the most well behaved kid out there, there's definitely more to him than he lets meet the eye. He's charming and he has a good amount of compassion on reserve for the people he decides are worthy enough and capable of handling it. He's easy to befriend as long as you have the right mindset. If you love having fun then he's definitely the guy for you; if you're more of a play it safe, then he'd probably get on your last nerve.


KEATON LEVI MORIARTY

He's the kid that no one seems to ever take seriously, and the only thing he takes seriously are his friends, his music, and his "brothers". His older brother Wesley is his number one idol, and his best friend Drew comes in a very close second for Keaton's (affectionately called Keaty Cat by Wesley and Drew) adoration. He, like his brother, is a bonafide sweetheart and if you manage to get close to him, there isn't a thing in the world he wouldn't do to ensure that you keep a bright smile on your face. He does have his set backs, though. The poor kid is bipolar and there are a few occasions where he lets it get the better of him, and he does have a bad habit of acting and speaking before he uses his head to think about what he's potentially saying and/or doing. He's easy to befriend, and as long as you refrain from stepping up to his brother and best friend, keeping him as a friend is probably the easiest thing to accomplish in the world.


HARPER CHASE RAMSEY

She's just moving to Los Angeles from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, so she's definitely the new kid in town. She's a definite free spirit who believes that living in the moment is so much better than planning everything out move for move. She's humble, though. She knows she can pass herself off as one of the prettier girls, but she loves to think of herself as average, and being in the spotlight isn't something that she enjoys, or at least she doesn't think she does. She absolutely adores meeting new people, and she loves to have fun, and befriending her is fairly easy as long as you're not completely cynical and look down on almost everything. She's quirky, though, and many would venture to say that she's easily amused, and she's easy to approach.


CELIA RAE DUCHESNE

Everybody needs a good partner and crime, and Celia certainly fits the bill. She loves to have a good time and she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty to ensure that a good time is had. Everything from people watching, to trying to hand fish at the beach, all the way to throwing water balloons off the roof and finger painting horse statues, if you want to have a boat load of harmless (and harmful, varying.) fun, then Celia's definitely your go-to girl. She's part of the girl band Souls Alive along with her absolute best friends (Adriana, Isabelle, and Adeline.) and she's one half of the duo that unfortunately, still has another year of high school to go before joining her best friends. She loves to love and she absolutely adores people, and she loves meeting new people and making/keeping friends. She's easy to approach, and assuming you're capable of keeping up with her whacky and quirky antics, she's easy to befriend.


ASHTON CASEY SYKES

He's the guy that absolutely loves getting into whatever he could possibly get into. He's the kid that seems to be perpetually suffering from Peter Pan syndrome in the very strong sense that growing up is the absolute fathest thing from the top of his proverbial to-do list; and even if it's on the list is debatable. He's really playful and he loves to joke around, and while he definitely is not certifiably insane, he does have his own moments where his imagination does get the better of him. He tends to be fairly open about a lot of things, but there are certain things that are near and dear to him that he closes himself off with and refuses to shed light on. He likes to think he more than makes up for it in being easy to approach and easy to befriend, though.


KAI LOGAN BROOKS
(20. ucla student/marine biology. musician/bass. sweetheart. shy. currently single.)

He's probably the perfect example of a gentle giant. His world essentially revolves around music and his younger brother Leo, who is currently enrolled at Brentwood. He's tremendously shy at first, but once you get to know him, he definitely knows how to have a good time. He's particularly guarded about his past, especially about all the trouble that he used to get into, and the subject of his mother's death is definitely a touchy subject for him. But he's easy to approach, even though he probably wouldn't approach you unless something about you stuck out and caught his attention well enough to draw him in and lure him closer. He truly loves people, though, and once you get close to him, he's set to be a friend for life.

yeah adriana is addie's best friend, so i'm pretty sure they'd bump into each other one time if he's friends with dree. addie and dree are like twins, so if he likes dree, he'll probably like addie too. addie is that girl who generally either way gets seen as a typical one-nighter or as a sister, but hardly ever as something else, which is why she's so wary of it in the first place, but she'd definitely like to hang out with him.

LEONA & DAKOTA
no no, leona used to be bullied when she still lived in new orléans, which is the main reason why she acts this way now. at brentwood she could've been part of the popular clique, but she rejected them and willingly became an outcast. and now with her attitude now, no one dares to fuck with her anymore. if he came waltzin into her tipi, she'd probably be like what the hell, get the fuck out, but maybe that'll be the start of a very beautiful friendship? xD

We should do a thread with all three of them once he and Adriana are better acquainted. ~Also just read Celia's little mini bio. Dakota should just be honorary non-musically talented member of that band with the way I see them getting along. lol. Perhaps body guard? xD

Leona: Even if they end up becoming enemies, that sounds like it would be an interesting relationship. Haha.

april's currently being pulled out of her shell by her best friend who is destined not to let her turn into some cat lady, so i presume that if she saw him at first glance and think oh cool tattoos. she isn't one to judge upon appearance because she's seen first hand that not everyone is as they seem but overall april's generally happy these days so if he caught her in one of those great moods she'd be like hey you're cool have i just made a new friend? so yeah definite friends for these two.

&& ANGELO Dakota's dorm mate and Jae's eventual boyfriend so they'll be seeing a lot of each other. Angelo's a pretty easy guy to get along with. He's pretty friendly and he's not afraid to socialize despite being an introvert. He wouldn't really be at all put off by Dakota's intimidating first impression and they have a shared love of skating. I can't see any reason why they wouldn't get along so they'd definitely be pretty good friends. Angelo has a tendency to be overly affectionate.

&& CLAUDIA She just really needs friends. She's a sophomore who tends to keep to herself and is really bad at making friends. Even worse at keeping them. She's schizophrenic but only her family knows that as of yet so she has some traits about her that come off as really weird and off putting. I think she'd like Dakota, it'd be a matter of if Dakota would really bother with her.

&& FOX He's friendly and loves everyone and makes friends pretty easily but he's a UCLA student and deaf and nonverbal so idk if they'd meet. But if they did Fox would ask all about his tattoos.

&& FRANKIE He's a delicate little adorable fluffy bunny of a boy who adores all the people in all the world. He would adore Dakota. He adores everyone.

&& JOSEPHINE 21 year old local I don't think she'd bother with a guy like him.

&& LEO He's very friendly and energetic and has ADHD so he's constantly all over the place. He wouldn't be put off by Dakota's intimidating nature. If anything he'd be like "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED" and then run up all "HELLO FRIEND."

&& MATIAS He just graduated from Brentwood and he's a pretty friendly guy. I imagine it'd be similar to Angelo, since they have no real reason to dislike each other. He's in need of friends and he'd find someone like Dakota really interesting.

&& NOVA She'd think he was attractive and probably hit on him a lot. Nova's a really aggressive person who's all about friendly punches and gets along better with guys. She'd enjoy him though if he tried treating her like a little sister she'd give him a verbal beating.

&& OZZIE He's a returning senior who's probably the tallest person at the school. He's very mellow, has a twin sister and a gimpy heart. He enjoys people and Dakota would be no different. Ozzie gets along with almost everyone so long as they don't bring drama his way, which doesn't seem like something Dakota would do anyways.

&& RYHAL who goes by MacReady is a pretty chill guy too. He's a local and he's covered in ink and in a band and enjoys people and age wouldn't be anything weird for him. He'd probably act really big brotherly towards Dakota and make sure he doesn't get into trouble.

&& SCOTT spent his first few year at Brentwood as a bully while he dealt with the loss of his mother but the past year and a half he's smartened up and started making it up to the people he used to target. Scott's gone from the typical asshole jock to a quiet and intellectual jock hiding that he's an artist. && VERONICA, or Vonny, is a very sweet and friendly girl with albinism. She's generally very nice but has a very sassy sense of humor and uses sass to cover up when something's upset her. She gets bullied a lot and is very used to being treated like a younger sister. Dakota would easily be someone that she'd go up and talk to randomly, ask him about all of the tattoos that she can see and enjoy that he's not just some typical punkass.

&& YEONA She's very distant and apathetic towards everyone and a huge misanthropist so she wouldn't talk to Dakota unless he talked to her first.
