Iza is that cynical, ironical person you all know, being funny while being her ironical self. She is sturdy and laidback, and could easily been seen as one of the guys, if she wasn't such a flirt. iza is free on her love because she has an insane fear to be left by people she loves, so she is scared to let people close to her, even though it seems as if fear is not part of her vocabulary. Iza was born in Paris, France, as the second child of Valerié Montagulette and Gerald Thomasson, who was working there as an engineer for the time being. Her eldest brother is called Alain being 4 years older than Iza. Her older brother Christian was 1 year older than her. 3 year after Iza, her sister charlotte was born, and then her parents decided not to have children anymore.
Iza grew up in Paris, being in a well-off family with a bright, blooming businesses, living in a big house at the 16th arrondissement, at the right bank of the Seine. Because her father was American, the Thomasson siblings grew up with English and French, but as much. Iza still has some French traits, but also American ones. their upbringing was rather strict to fit in with the upper-class of the Parisian society, but iza never seemed to fit, she was much rather outside playing baseball with her brothers than learning how to play harp and how to properly adress a man. When she became sixteen, Gerald and Valerié divorced and Gerald left France with his love-affair Georgine. They went back to the USA. Iza tried to stay with her mother, but after her older brother Christian went to New York to make it there as a writer, she felt the ache to do more as well. To be more. Knowing Paris wasn't the place to be in a rock band (which she wanted most of all), she wanted to leave her mother and go to her dad in the States, even though she hadn't forgiven him yet that he had cheated on Valerié. Her mother did not agree with her, saying that rock bands were not for lovely, well-off ladies like she was. Her mother and her by then already had had a lot of fight about her clothing and daredevil lifestyle.
Iza ran away from home at seventeen after she was done with high school, and after received a VISA for the States (which was easier to obtain because her father lived there), the girl could go to the USA. Arriving in Los Angeles, where her father lived now, she came to a huge surprise. Gerald, who now had two kids (Elisa and Jeannette) with Georgine, did not want anything to do with her and Iza was all on her own. Bitter and disappointed, she got herself into a café, where a band was playing. She got all excited when she heard their music and Iza (having had all sorts of musical lessons throughout the years), noticed they were not having a pianist yet. After the show she went up to them and after showing them what she had got, Iza could join the rock band, but as lead singer because their lead singer had to quit because of moving to another state for college.
She doesn't really go home back to France anymore since her mother re-married a wealthy and powerful man who is the owner of a bakery franchise all through europe and doesn't even acknowledge her half-sister amélie, because she feels like first her mother betrayed her dad and now the other way around by chosing for a marriage out of money issues, because he could boost valéries fashion label that was going down down down in popularity. iza enjoys living in la and just living her life and does not intend on ever going to college. but since her band has been getting more and more popularity these days, suddenly her father who first defied her has started to contact her. the more iza rejects his calls and messages, the more he tries and he is now really getting into her personal life into a way that he's nearly stalking her. iza has yet to find a way to deal with this and keep him out of her life, because she is so disappointed in him and doesn't want him in her life anymore and doesn't know why exactly he has decided to want her back now. is it money, is it fame, or is he really geniunely sorry for letting her down?
