E L I T E S More popular than the 'popular' kids, these students just have that something extra about them. With the guys, girls want to date them and the guys want to be them. The girls, well the guys want to date them and the other girls hate them. The Elites make things happen, they rule the school and somehow have connections with the locals. They are not necessarily all from wealthy families, though by the way some act you'd never know. They are intelligent both on the street and in the classroom and are what most people wish they could be. These are cannon characters and are limited in number. They throw the best parties and while they may socialize with others not in their circle, they may not all be that friendly. P O P U L A R S The Popular kids tend to be the rich kids in the school. They don't quite fit into the Elite, but their parents are loaded. The Populars, for the most part, care about money, being rich, labels, fame and all that goes along with being wealthy. Many are snobby, only associating themselves with other Populars or they'll even try to align themselves with the Elites. Some have no problem befriending from any group and are actually down to earth, dressing the rich kid part but not really caring much about the front they need to keep and just sort of do their own thing. For those who are not wealthy, there is something about them that the rich kids see, taking them in with their group. J O C K S Sports, sports and more sports! From basketball, baseball, cheerleading, football and everything in between, these students are all about it. They are rich, they're on scholarships and even on financial aid. What sets them apart from the others is their love for sports. The Jocks tend to hang out with the Populars, but it's not unheard of that they will break away from their comfort zone and hang out with other groups. A R T I S T S Actors, musicians, artists, models, writers, basically those that strive to do anything artistic. Their lives revolve around their artistic talent and it's what they eat, sleep and breathe. These students can come from any social background, so they can be wealthy, on scholarships or financial aid. Many tend to stick with other artists because 'no one really understands them', but like any other group, they do branch out. B A S I C S These are your average kids who are there on financial aid, or at least most of them will be. of course some of them could be wealthy or on scholarships of sorts. they blend in with your typical high school student except they want more in life and their parents are willing to take on the financial burden to get it for them. they don't necessarily fit in with the other groups, but they don't not fit in either. literally, they are your average teenagers just trying to get through high school and into a good college after graduation. O U T C A S T S Literally just that, these students are the outcasts of the school. whether they're nerds, druggies, socially inept, crazy, come from broken homes or just don't fit in, they have been grouped together courtesy of the popular kids because they just don't belong. They can come from wealthy families though most of the other students would assume otherwise because of their behavior. Of course they can also be there on financial aid. Scholarships are iffy since they are sort of falling through the cracks. T E A C H E R S self explanatory, these are the teachers of the school. like the students, they live on campus in staff housing and are the people who essentially are in charge of taking care of the students. some of them adhere to the school rules, however there are a few who like to bend the rules and can be persuaded to look the other way when there's a party. it's even said that there might be a teacher or two at some of the parties. L O C A L S these are characters that live in los angeles or surrounding cities. they can be college students or just your average, every day person. locals must be at least 18 years old and have graduated from high school (or past high school years). if they, for whatever reason, go onto the brentwood campus, they are considered visitors of a student/teacher. U C L A S T U D E N T S these characters are students at ucla, usually full time (though we will accept part time students). they can be graduates from brentwood or from somewhere else. P R O F E S S O R S these are characters that live in los angeles or surrounding cities and teach at ucla. they must be 24+ templates created by jericha of truth in cliché [/style][/style] |
