Though caleb had always wanted a son to be his first kid, since sons actually achieved something while women's only goal was to get married and have children. yes, caleb st.cloud was oldfashioned, and catalina (who was actually spanish) had nothing to say about that. she had been just a poor, spanish immigrant before caleb found her, fell in love with her and married her. but yes, basically it was meant for maeve to grow up and be exactly like her mother, just a housewife, all that. her first six years were just peaceful. she was too young to understand the concept of why women were to be submissive to men. then with six years age difference, her sister louisa was born. immediatelty lou was the shining light in her fathers existence, because she was the mere reflection of him, while maeve much more represented her mother. growing up was quite okay, mae never got beaten or abused in any other way. the only downfall was seeing how her father obviously preferred her younger sister, who got to be spoiled way more than she did. but she was her mother's favorite, even though catalina did not have a lot to say in the household or how the money was spent. It became even more clear, when Mae was in the sixth grade of regular schooling, and her sister who was old enough by then, was allowed to go to a fancy boarding school in LA, called Brentwood. maeve would be the first to admit she was jealous, if only because lou would get to be freed from their father's narrowminded ideas about women, gays, black people, and basically everyone but her mother and white people. at the age of sixteen it was when maeve started really revolting for the first time, when she started rebelling and openly denying her father's wishes. her mother always tried to protect her, but mae just never took any of his punishments or repercussions seriously. She was always on the road, either way jamming with her band, practicing her songs and monologues for her Juilliard and Carnegie Mellon auditions and just being away and partying as much as she could. whenever Lou would be home, her father would not even acknowledge her existence, so glad he was that she had come back. Hence why she was so glad to finally be rid off all that drama when she got accepted to Juilliard. New York City had always had a pull on her, she wanted to go there, see Broadway, see the world. Stand on the center of the globe. It was like a dream come true when Juilliard accepted her, and they had all right to do so, because maeve st.cloud was sickly talented. the years in college (doing two curriculars at the same time, drama and music) went by in a blur, practicing, studying partying it was all one big haze of awesomeness. Maeve finally felt at home and hardly ever visited her parents in Alabama. In fact, she was pretty sure she'd never go back to live there anymore. After Juilliard, the people stood in line for her. she was young, like an energizer bunny, had vocal chords of concrete and her talent seemed to be unlimited. Her first part was Mimi Marquez in the musical Rent, only to be followed by many others, her crown piece being the part of Elphaba in Wicked. Wicked had always been her favorite musical of all times, and how she had dreamed to only be on Broadway on that stage as ensemble member. Life was great, it had an awful lot in store for her. Until the phone call came. her parents had died in a car crash, leaving her all alone with her sister. Now ther was tuition fee she had to pay for Louisa's schooling and taking care of her, and her sister was in no way cooperating. all those years had gotten her to be spoiled, and she wanted everything to go her way. so now maeve, who was an uprising musical actress, waiting to get famous, nearly being there, to quit her career and take a teaching job at Brentwood so her sister could stay there. maeve had always loved louisa, even if she was a spoiled brat, and she did not want her to go under the custody of their only other living relative, their aunt Jackie, who was a total bitch and would certainly not treat lou right. but her sister is not making things easier for her, and if it isn't bad enough, there's always the issue with louisa's boyfriend, who somehow seems to not be able to keep his eyes off maeve. the puppeteer your alias maschaaaaaa time rping about a year or 4 me thinks how did you find us every time this silly question entrance word bazinga! rp sample LOL NO; annette mason.
