the future
Jazz wants to find her way onto A: American Idol, B: The Voice, C: Dancing with the stars, or D: America's Got Talent. In other words she wants to get her name out their whether it's through t.v. movies, music or Broadway. Then after about ten or twenty years in the industry she wants to retire in Italy and have a small family.
hobbies
Jazz is a big fan of being alone, she does like the occasional night out and partying, but normally she likes a nice quiet evening with a book or playing music.
fears & secrets
Jazz is bulimic thanks to her father and a lot of the bullies when she was younger. It's the biggest secret she has and she's deathly afraid of anyone finding out.
personality
Jasmine is a typically distant girl. She's the silent one that sits in the corner and everyone knows is there, just doesn't pay attention to. She's normally seen with a book, or her laptop constantly reading different things and trying her best to seem busy so no one will approach her. She is in no way antisocial, she just doesn't like a lot of attention around her, and she feels like if she makes friends they'll hurt her in some way or another. Jazz hasn't had a close friend since preschool. No one thinks shes weird, but never approach her because she appears to be very timid. Which is true.
Jazz has a thing with arguing as well, if an argument is about to flair up, she hides away and disappears. She'd rather die than get stuck fighting with someone about something stupid, or anything in fact. But when someone gets close enough to break the barriers down they find a lively, random, and genuinely awesome person to hang out with. Jazz doesn't hold grudges against anyone (except for her father) and is as sweet as candy. She would never hurt someones feeling intentionally.

history
Born in London England on September 30th Jasmine Rose Cross came into the world to a loving mother and a controlling father. From the day Jazz learned how to walk her dad constantly harped her about this and that so that he could get his "perfect" child. All because the two children before her turned out less than good, drug addicts, "live life as it comes," and less than a part of a Jazz's life. Jazz never blamed it on her siblings though, she only blamed it on herself, because that's what she was taught to do from her loving father. He was abusive, and spent most of his time liquored up and trying to "get some" from the hookers down at the local strip joints. It was an awful life for the small and pure Jasmine who only wanted to be accepted of her dad. It wasn't all bad though, Jasmines mother was the sweetest being on the face of the earth, and always comforted Jazz when her father when on his alcoholic rage fits.
At around six, Jazz's parents realized that their daughter had a natural talent for learning things. She picked up a toy guitar and practically strummed out a symphony (not really, but it was good for a seven year old.) Months later she'd dink around with the piano and play Beethoven, (again not really but for a seven year old it was pretty awesome.) Now her father had something real that he could harness. The power of his daughters brain. He began to force her to dance, and sing, and do all sorts of things that he wanted her to do. All in all, he wanted her to be... The perfect little girl. But that little girl was never enough, no Alexander wanted more. When she turned ten, was when he first touched her it was far from innocent, and the youthful Jazz knew it but didn't want to send her father into a fit of rage. It continued on and on, only when they were alone, and only after her father had beat her till she got something right (a specific dance, a song.)
But the day soon came where her mother caught her father in the act. Jazz was thirteen, her father had a few to many drinks, and her mother had gotten home early from running errands. Melissa called the 5-0, but before she could get the words out she was murdered by Jazz's father. It was a scarring time, Jazz had heard the whole confrontation between her room, all the way to the choked out cries of her mom. After her dad's trial she was sent to America to live with her closest of kin. Her aunt and uncle in New York. It was a short lived visit, Jazz reminded the two too much of her mother and they couldn't handle having her around without breaking into tears. So Jazz was sent away again to her fathers side of the family, his only brother, Jerry. It was shortly after she started school that she wrote an English report on abuse and rape that earned her a Scholarship to Brentwood. More than a humble life her uncle lives in a beat up trailer, but treats Jazz like she's the world because he'd always wanted a daughter, and was finally blessed with one.
